A live game-UI portfolio with a lime-on-black hero, a case-study grid for Zero Hour and HUD work, and a contact path for studios.
Problem
A game designer’s site has to feel like a title screen, with a preloader, letter-spaced type, and cinematic case-study art, without burying the hire path. Generic agency themes look like marketing shops, not HUD work.
Approach
Koushik Folio is a custom WordPress site for Dhaka-based game UI/UX designer Koushik Sarker. The homepage opens on “Hello, I’m Koushik Sarker / UI/UX Designer for Games,” with copy about 5+ years across tactical shooters and RPGs, plus Download Resume and Behance Portfolio CTAs. Featured work cards cover Zero Hour – UI Redesign & UX Breakdown, UI Diary – Exploring Multiple Styles, Spaceship Console HUD Design & Animation, and Unreal Engine UI Implementation. A marquee lists Game UI/UX Design, UI Animation, Unreal, Motion Graphics, Unity, and RealTime VFX. The About page tells a 2016-to-now design story, skill lists, job experiences (Pixel Dynamics Studio UK, MADSPACE Slovakia, Metaverse Game Studios USA, AttritoM7 Productions), and shipped titles Angelic, Zero Hour, and Blackwood. Contact is Dhaka, koushiksarker71@gmail.com, with LinkedIn in the chrome. Built a dark WordPress theme with a lime accent, preloader, sticky Home/Portfolio/About/Contact nav, and a two-up project grid that deep-links into case studies. Wired resume/Behance CTAs, a Let’s Collaborate form (name, phone, subject, message), and footer contact for Dhaka outreach. Live at koushikfolio.com. Built in collaboration with A. S. M. Asif Islam (asmasif.com), who led the engagement; I worked on the build alongside him.
Impact
Cinematic hero + preloader: Letter-animated name, game-UI positioning, and Resume / Behance CTAs over a dark grid. Case-study portfolio: Zero Hour, sci-fi mobile UI, cinematics, Unreal implementation, UI Diary, GTA V server UI, and spaceship HUD work. About as a designer reel: Skills, 6+ years, studio credits, Angelic / Zero Hour / Blackwood write-ups, and Adobe/Huawei certifications.
